Adam Wharton could be set for a new club as active negotiations between Real Madrid and Crystal Palace are ongoing over a potential transfer. The midfielder is seen as the perfect addition to the squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that talks are underway. While discussions are reportedly still in their early stages, there is increased optimism that a deal could be reached in the coming days. Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle remain in the background, but for now, Real Madrid are leading the way in ongoing talks. Real Madrid look balanced this season - 2.38 goals scored and 1.0 goals conceded per game. Adam Wharton would be expected to bring control and consistency to help push them to another level. Reports suggest Real Madrid are monitoring Alphonso Davies, Scott McTominay and Miguel Gutierrez whereas Crystal Palace have not been associated with other players at this stage.
