Update
After reportedly seeing their latest offer accepted, QPR have entered discussions with Ronnie Edwards over personal terms. The defender, currently with Southampton, is a top target for the interested team, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad. With negotiations underway, the deal now rests on reaching an agreement with the player on personal terms and bonuses - which are expected to be agreed imminently. Negotiations are still active, and with no other teams linked, QPR appear to have a clear path to completing the deal. So far in this season, QPR are conceding 1.5 goals a game (39 in 26), more than they'd like compared to the Championship standard. The hope is Ronnie Edwards adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Reports suggest Southampton are monitoring Peretz Daniel and Anthony Patterson whereas QPR have not been associated with other players at this stage. Stay tuned for more details as the story develops. Need more QPR transfer rumours? Follow @PlayerSwitchCom on Twitter for news and updates as they happen.
