Update
It's official: Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo has signed for Monaco from Sevilla. The midfielder's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. Unlike many transfers, this move came without rival competition, allowing Monaco to finalise the signing smoothly. In season 25/26, Monaco are conceding 1.67 goals per game (10 in 6 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Sevilla continue to be linked with Mohammadjavad Hosseinnezhad while Monaco are also rumoured to be tracking Louis Leroux and Kieran Trippier.
