Pape Matar Sarr could be set for a new club as active negotiations between Monaco and Tottenham are ongoing over a potential transfer. The midfielder is seen as the perfect addition to the squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that talks are underway. While discussions are reportedly still in their early stages, there is increased optimism that a deal could be reached in the coming days. While Galatasaray, PSG and Brentford have shown interest, Monaco currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. Monaco are only scoring 1.0 goals per game (1 in 1) this season, which suggests they need more creativity in the middle. Pape Matar Sarr would be seen as the link to raise the tempo and feed the attack. Tottenham have also been linked with Amine Gouiri, Emilano Martinez and Illia Zabarnyi while Monaco are reportedly monitoring Fares Ghedjemis. Stay tuned for more details as the story develops.
