The transfer mill is churning once again, with Liverpool believed to be lining up a move for Alberto Moleiro, the forward from Villarreal. Sources close to the club suggest they are exploring options to reinforce their squad ahead of the run-in. Liverpool remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. Manchester City and Arsenal continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. Liverpool's current 1.4 goals scored per game is close to average. Alberto Moleiro would be seen as someone to make them more dangerous and clinical in the box. Liverpool have recently been linked with Adrien Truffert, Noel Aseko Nkili and Assane Diao Diaoune while Villarreal have had no rumoured targets.
