Update
Following multiple reliable reports that Newcastle have accepted a bid from Bayern Munich for Anthony Gordon - discussions over personal terms are said to have begun as all parties look to finalise the move in the coming days. The forward is open to the move, and if talks proceed smoothly, the transfer could be confirmed in the coming days - which would see the buying team secure one of their top targets and put their rivals on notice. Bayern Munich remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. Paris SG, Barcelona and Chelsea continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. Bayern Munich have been strong going forward this season, with 117 goals scored in 33 games (3.55 per game). Anthony Gordon would give them depth and keep that attacking firepower going all season. Alongside this, Newcastle are said to be exploring Mio Backhaus, Victor Mow Froholdt and Min-jae Kim with Bayern Munich likewise connected to Josko Gvardiol, Charles De Ketelaere and Valentino Livramento.
