After an agreement was reached and all documents signed, Caleb Wiley has been announced as the latest recruit at Preston. The defender leaves Chelsea after completing all formalities. With the deal now official, attention turns to when the new signing will debut for his new club. The move attracted little outside interest, which meant Preston could complete the transfer without any real contest. This season (26/27) Preston have shipped 5 goals in 2 matches - 2.5 a game, which is well above the Championship average. Caleb Wiley would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back.
