Update
Unconfirmed reports suggest that discussions have begun between Celtic and West Ham over the transfer of Callum Wilson. The forward has emerged as a top target for the squad and talks are reportedly progressing as the two clubs explore whether there is a deal to be done for the player. Celtic are still pushing to finalise terms. However, Aston Villa are still watching closely and may return with offers of their own. Celtic have been strong going forward this season, with 39 goals scored in 22 games (1.77 per game). Callum Wilson would give them depth and keep that attacking firepower going all season. Alongside this, West Ham are said to be exploring Dan Neill, Filip Jorgensen and Eric Dier with Celtic likewise connected to Ignacio Laquintana, Stephen Welsh and Kyogo Furuhashi.
