Transfer talk surrounding Nicolas Raskin is intensifying, with reports suggesting Aston Villa are monitoring the Rangers midfielder closely. The player has caught the attention of several scouts as other clubs prepare for a potentially active transfer window. Aston Villa remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. Besiktas, Real Betis and Atalanta continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. In season 26/27, Aston Villa are conceding 1.8 goals per game (9 in 5 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Nicolas Raskin would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Rangers continue to be linked with Max Dowman while Aston Villa are also rumoured to be tracking Vangelis Pavlidis, Gonzalo García Torres and Pavel Sulc. Want to see how the story develops?
