Daizen Maeda is officially a Ipswich player following confirmation of his transfer from Celtic. The forward joins after both clubs confirmed the deal after personal terms were agreed and the player passed his medical. Now focus turns to how he will fit into his new team. Daizen Maeda had attracted interest from Wolfsburg, but it was Ipswich who secured the agreement and completed every step of the process. A deal that once seemed uncertain is now fully confirmed.
