The deal is done: Enzo Fernandez is now a Manchester City player after completing a switch from Chelsea. The midfielder signs after the two clubs reached an agreement and the player completed a medical. The player is set to meet his new teammates and embark on a new chapter in his career. Despite interest from Barcelona, Manchester United and Atletico the deal has been made public. It's a move that brings clarity to the player's future heading into the final stretch of the season. So far this season, Manchester City are steady at both ends (3.0 goals scored per game, 1.0 goals conceded per game). The role for Enzo Fernandez would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch. Chelsea continue to be linked with Martin Zubimendi, Francisco Fernandes Conceicao and Lamine Camara while Manchester City are also rumoured to be tracking Julian Alvarez, Cody Gakpo and Allan Andrade Elias.
