Update
Gonzalo García Torres is confirmed to be the subject of advanced talks between Stuttgart and Real Madrid, who are negotiating terms ahead of a possible transfer. The forward has long been on the radar of Stuttgart, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch. Progress on talks has been made, though a final agreement is not yet in place and other clubs are said to be weighing-up whether to join the race for his signature. While Stuttgart and Real Madrid continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. West Ham and Aston Villa reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. Stuttgart's current 1.62 goals scored per game is close to average. Gonzalo García Torres would be seen as someone to make them more dangerous and clinical in the box. Reports suggest Real Madrid are monitoring Christos Mouzakitis, Nathaniel Brown and Sehrou Guirassy whereas Stuttgart have not been associated with other players at this stage.
