Update
Jack Butland is reportedly in talks with Hull after Rangers accepted a bid for the goalkeeper. The proposed move has moved a step closer, with personal terms currently being negotiated between club and player. Final agreement is still pending but momentum is clearly building and there is optimism that a deal will be struck in the coming days. Talks remain ongoing, though with no rival clubs reported in the mix, Hull are progressing without added pressure. Across the season 25/26, Hull have let in 48 goals in 34 (1.41 per game), roughly in line with the Championship average. Jack Butland would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Rangers have also been linked with Ben Godfrey and Ross McCrorie while Hull are reportedly monitoring Emersonn Correia da Silva. More on this story as it develops. Need more Hull transfer rumours?
