After a completed medical and final agreement on terms, Liam Delap has been unveiled as a new Nottingham signing. The forward leaves Chelsea to embark on a new chapter - with fans of his new club keen to see what he can do. Nottingham identified him as a top target early in the window and are said to be delighted to finally get their man. After interest from Como, Leeds United and Aston Villa, it was Nottingham who persisted and completed the process. All formal steps are now done, and the player will begin work with his new club immediately. Nottingham's 26/27 output of 0 goals per game is behind league levels. The addition of Liam Delap would give them the sharper edge they're missing in front of goal. Alongside this, Chelsea are said to be exploring Francisco Fernandes Conceicao, Honest Ahanor and Alex Scott with Nottingham likewise connected to Luis Suarez, Dodo and Karim Coulibaly.
