Michael Olise is confirmed to be the subject of advanced talks between Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who are negotiating terms ahead of a possible transfer. The forward has long been on the radar of Liverpool, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch. Progress on talks has been made, though a final agreement is not yet in place and other clubs are said to be weighing-up whether to join the race for his signature. Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. Liverpool's current 1.4 goals scored per game is close to average. Michael Olise would be seen as someone to make them more dangerous and clinical in the box. Bayern Munich continue to be linked with Bernd Leno, Phil Foden and Dani Olmo while Liverpool are also rumoured to be tracking Kaoru Mitoma, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo.
