Update
Man Utd have reportedly added Nick Pope to their shortlist of transfer targets. The Newcastle goalkeeper is rumoured to be attracting attention ahead of the next transfer window, with insiders claiming preliminary talks could soon take place. Man Utd have laid out their intentions, but valuation and timing remain under debate. Burnley are keeping tabs in case talks collapse or progress slows further. So far in this season, Man Utd are conceding 1.83 goals a game (11 in 6), more than they'd like compared to the Premier League standard. The hope is Nick Pope adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Alongside this, Newcastle are said to be exploring Alex Remiro, Ollie Watkins and Rodrigo Muniz Carvalho with Man Utd likewise connected to Vinicius, John Victor and Javier Guerra Moreno.
