Update
It looks like Olexandr Zinchenko won't be joining Marseille this window after talks with Arsenal collapsed - as reported by multiple reliable sources close to the deal. The defender was one of several names on their radar, but their attention now turns elsewhere after an agreement couldn't be reached. The club had hoped to wrap up a deal for the player in the coming days, but that now looks dead in the water. The deal has fallen through, and while Marseille are moving on, clubs such as Nottingham Forest, Real Betis and Porto remain in the frame. With only 5 goals conceded in 7 (0.71 per game), Marseille have been one of the stronger defences in the Ligue 1 this season.. Olexandr Zinchenko would be asked to keep that standard and provide dependable cover when needed. Arsenal have also been linked with Karl Jacob Hein, Malick Fofana and Frenkie De Jong while Marseille are reportedly monitoring Lutsharel Geertruida, Kobbie Mainoo and Hamed Junior Traore.
