It's all confirmed: Quinten Timber has joined Crystal Palace from Marseille. The midfielder has penned terms with his new club and completed all registration steps. This deal brings to an end a high-profile pursuit, with Crystal Palace now adding another piece to their evolving squad structure. Once chased by a number of clubs from across the division, Quinten Timber is now officially a Crystal Palace player. The final details have been ironed out, with medical, paperwork, and announcement all completed. Crystal Palace made a strong final push to get the deal over the line before the window closed, beating Porto, Aston Villa and Marseille to his signature. In season 26/27, Crystal Palace are conceding 3.0 goals per game (6 in 2 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Quinten Timber would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Alongside this, Marseille are said to be exploring Illan Meslier, Noah Atubolu and Tosin Adarabioyo with Crystal Palace likewise connected to Benjamin Chilwell, Malick Fofana and Honest Ahanor.
