Reliable reports are saying that Rafael Leao is in talks with Aston Villa after Milan reached an initial agreement for the forward. The proposed move has moved a step closer, with personal terms currently being negotiated between club and player. Final confirmation is still pending but momentum is clearly building and there is optimism that a deal will be struck in the coming days. While Al Hilal, Galatasaray and Newcastle have shown interest, Aston Villa currently lead the race - though the situation could evolve if a deal drags on. Aston Villa's 26/27 output of 0 goals per game is behind league levels. The addition of Rafael Leao would give them the sharper edge they're missing in front of goal. Milan continue to be linked with Bruno Fernandes, Diego Moreira and Matias Soule while Aston Villa are also rumoured to be tracking Jean-Clair Todibo, Christian Michel Kofane and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
