Update
Multiple reports have confirmed that Newcastle have made their first official bid for Yan Diomande by submitting a formal offer. The Leipzig forward has long been admired by the interested team, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad ahead of the run-in. Whether the current offer will be enough to tempt Leipzig to part with a prized asset remains to be seen. Newcastle have laid out their intentions, but valuation and timing remain under debate. Bayern Munich, Paris SG and Barcelona are keeping tabs in case talks collapse or progress slows further. So far this season, Newcastle are averaging 1.41 goals scored per game (45 goals /32 games), close to the Premier League average. Yan Diomande would be expected to help them push higher and add more variety in attack. Alongside this, Leipzig are said to be exploring Caspar Jander with Newcastle likewise connected to Jeremy Monga, Manuel Ugarte and Gonzalo García Torres.
