Multiple reports have confirmed that Newcastle have made their first official bid for Yan Diomande by submitting a formal offer. The Leipzig forward has long been admired by the interested team, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad ahead of the run-in. Whether the current offer will be enough to tempt Leipzig to part with a prized asset remains to be seen. Newcastle have laid out their intentions, but valuation and timing remain under debate.
