Strasbourg Alsace have finally got their man, after they confirmed the arrival of Dario Essugo from Chelsea. The midfielder becomes the club's latest signing of the window, with all formalities now completed. The transfer ends speculation surrounding his future and marks a significant step in the club's push to strengthen key areas of the squad. Once chased by a number of clubs from across the division, Dario Essugo is now officially a Strasbourg Alsace player. The final details have been ironed out, with medical, paperwork, and announcement all completed. Strasbourg Alsace made a strong final push to get the deal over the line before the window closed, beating Hull to his signature. In season 26/27, Strasbourg Alsace are conceding 2.5 goals per game (5 in 2 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Dario Essugo would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Chelsea have also been linked with Francisco Fernandes Conceicao, Lamine Camara and Iliman Ndiaye while Strasbourg Alsace are reportedly monitoring Badredine Bouanani, Conrad Harder and Oso.
