Joel Ordonez is confirmed to be the subject of advanced talks between Crystal Palace and Club Brugge, who are negotiating terms ahead of a possible transfer. The defender has long been on the radar of Crystal Palace, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad as they look to strengthen a key area of the pitch. Progress on talks has been made, though a final agreement is not yet in place and other clubs are said to be weighing-up whether to join the race for his signature. Tottenham, Liverpool and Aston Villa remain in the background, but for now, Crystal Palace are leading the way in ongoing talks. So far in this season, Crystal Palace are conceding 3.0 goals a game (6 in 2), more than they'd like compared to the Premier League standard. The hope is Joel Ordonez adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Club Brugge continue to be linked with Matteo Dams while Crystal Palace are also rumoured to be tracking Dario Osorio, Benjamin Chilwell and Malick Fofana. Need more Crystal Palace transfer rumours?
