Update
It's back to square one for Chelsea after multiple reports outlining their failure to land Lucas Bergvall from Tottenham. The midfielder had been in their sights for weeks, but despite talks taking place over a potential transfer, the move never materialised and it looks like they will need to move onto fresh targets. He'll remain with his current club for the time being - unless an improved bid is made. The deal has fallen through, and while Chelsea are moving on, clubs such as Aston Villa, Liverpool and Real Madrid remain in the frame. Chelsea look balanced this season - 1.81 goals scored and 1.15 goals conceded per game. Lucas Bergvall would be expected to bring control and consistency to help push them to another level. Tottenham continue to be linked with Antonio Rudiger, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Christian Pulisic while Chelsea are also rumoured to be tracking Igor Thiago Nascimento Rodrigues, Bruno Guimaraes and Omari Hutchinson.
