Update
Reports suggest that Liverpool and Bournemouth have agreed a fee for Marcos Senesi - with personal terms and contract talks imminent. The defender has yet to sign off on the move, but negotiations over wages and contract clauses are in motion, with all parties hoping for swift progress. It is looking increasingly likely that the deal will be done in the coming days. Until a fee and conditions are finalised, the deal remains vulnerable to disruption - especially if Man Utd, Newcastle and Crystal Palace decide to make a formal offer of their own in the coming days. Across the season 25/26, Liverpool have let in 42 goals in 32 (1.31 per game), roughly in line with the Premier League average. Marcos Senesi would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Alongside this, Bournemouth are said to be exploring Rio Ngumoha and Jhon Lucumi with Liverpool likewise connected to Igor Paixao, Morten Hjulmand and David Raum.
