Update
Multiple reliable news outlets have reported that the race to sign Martin Baturina is heating up, as reports indicate that Leeds have now officially submitted a bid for the player as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the run-in. Talks are expected to continue over the coming days - with Como 1907 said to be reluctant to let him go for a penny less than their valuation. Negotiations are still active, and with no other teams linked, Leeds appear to have a clear path to completing the deal. In season 25/26, Leeds are conceding 1.68 goals per game (37 in 22 games), which points to a lack of control in midfield. Martin Baturina would be expected to calm things down and protect the back line better. Alongside this, Como 1907 are said to be exploring Bernardo Silva and Kaiki Bruno da Silva with Leeds likewise connected to Romano Schmid, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Facundo Valentin Buonanotte. Stay tuned for more details as the story develops. Need more Leeds transfer rumours? Follow @PlayerSwitchCom on Twitter for news and updates as they happen.
