It's official: Matias Vecino has signed for Celta Vigo from Lazio. The midfielder's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. With no other clubs strongly linked, Celta Vigo were able to move quickly and secure the deal without distraction. So far this season, Celta Vigo are steady at both ends (1.32 goals scored per game, 1.05 goals conceded per game). The role for Matias Vecino would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch.
