Transfer interest is building around Nick Pope, with Bayern Munich understood to be weighing-up a move for the Newcastle goalkeeper. While there has been no official bid as yet, the club may act swiftly if they decide to pursue the deal before the transfer window slams shut. While Bayern Munich and Newcastle continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Ipswich, Manchester United and Burnley reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. Bayern Munich's back line has been a real strength this season, conceding just 0.5 goals per game (2 in 4). Nick Pope would be expected to slot into that unit and hold his own in an already solid setup. Alongside this, Newcastle are said to be exploring Noa Mikic, Antonio Nusa and Yasin Abbas Ayari with Bayern Munich likewise connected to Kenan Yildiz, Bernd Leno and Phil Foden.
