Update
It's reportedly back to square one for Birmingham after failing to land Yang Hyun-jun from Celtic. The forward had been in their sights for weeks, but despite talks taking place over a potential transfer, the move never materialised and it looks like they will need to move onto fresh targets. He'll remain with his current club for the time being - unless an improved bid is made. Negotiations failed to produce a deal, and with no other reported suitors, the situation is set to remain unchanged for Yang Hyun-jun. Birmingham's 25/26 output of 0.88 goals per game is behind league levels. The addition of Yang Hyun-jun would give them the sharper edge they're missing in front of goal. Alongside this, Celtic are said to be exploring Jesuran Rak-Sakyi, Marcelo Saracchi and Michel Ange Balikwisha with Birmingham likewise connected to Patrick Roberts, Mikayil Ngor Faye and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
