The deal to bring Axel Disasi to Monaco has reportedly broken down. The Chelsea defender had featured prominently in the club's plans, but sources are now speculating that no agreement was reached and both sides are expected to move on quickly to new targets. Whether talks will resume further down the line remains to be seen. The deal has fallen through, and while Monaco are moving on, clubs such as Aston Villa, West Ham and Crystal Palace remain in the frame. This season (25/26) Monaco have shipped 12 goals in 7 matches - 1.71 a game, which is well above the Ligue 1 average. Axel Disasi would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back.
