Update
Multiple reports have confirmed that Wolfsburg have made their first official bid for Charlie Cresswell by submitting a formal offer. The Toulouse defender has long been admired by the interested team, who see him as the perfect addition to their squad ahead of the run-in. Whether the current offer will be enough to tempt Toulouse to part with a prized asset remains to be seen. Crystal Palace, Brighton and Chelsea are reportedly waiting in the wings. Finalising a fee and payment terms remains central to closing the transfer. This season (25/26) Wolfsburg have shipped 41 goals in 19 matches - 2.16 a game, which is well above the Bundesliga average. Charlie Cresswell would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Toulouse continue to be linked with Jacen Russell-Rowe and Pape Diop while Wolfsburg are also rumoured to be tracking Ko Itakura, Troy Parrott and Kento Shiogai.
