He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. With Nottingham Forest, Real Madrid and West Ham having dropped out of the race to sign him, the final steps went through without issue. The club handled the final stage quickly and will now look to integrate him into the matchday squad as soon as possible.
