Despite strong interest, sources are reporting that Folarin Balogun's expected move to Chelsea has fallen through. The forward will continue at Monaco after talks between the two clubs failed to reach an agreement. It's a frustrating development for all parties involved as they look to strengthen their squads. The deal has fallen through, and while Chelsea are moving on, clubs such as Everton, Barcelona and Aston Villa remain in the frame. At 3.5 goals scored per game this season, Chelsea already pose a big threat. Folarin Balogun would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Monaco have also been linked with Hicham Boudaoui, Djeidi Gassama and Pape Matar Sarr while Chelsea are reportedly monitoring James Garner, Martin Zubimendi and Francisco Fernandes Conceicao.
