Rumours are swirling around Kaoru Mitoma, with Liverpool reportedly showing interest in the midfielder currently plying his trade at Brighton. With both teams looking to strengthen their squads, the move could have a massive impact on their seasons going forward. Tottenham and Manchester United remain in the background, but for now, Liverpool are leading the way in ongoing talks. So far this season, Liverpool are steady at both ends (1.4 goals scored per game, 0.8 goals conceded per game). The role for Kaoru Mitoma would be to keep that balance while lifting performances across the pitch. Speculation continues to connect Liverpool with Rayan Cherki, Antoine Semenyo and Nico O Reilly while no fresh rumours surround Brighton. Want to see how the story develops?
