The transfer of Marcos Senesi to Tottenham has reportedly reached a breakthrough stage after Bournemouth gave the green light to the move and accepted a formal offer. While personal terms and contract length are yet to be agreed - it is looking increasingly likely that the interested team is about to get one of their top transfer targets signed and sealed. Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. This season (25/26) Tottenham have shipped 51 goals in 32 matches - 1.59 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Marcos Senesi would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back.
