Xavi Espart Font has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool, with the Premier League side said to be eyeing a move for the Barcelona midfielder. Speculation is gathering pace as the club looks to bolster its squad ahead of a crucial second half of the season. Tottenham and Arsenal are reportedly waiting in the wings. Finalising a fee and payment terms remains central to closing the transfer. Liverpool are only scoring 1.29 goals per game (9 in 7) this season, which suggests they need more creativity in the middle. Xavi Espart Font would be seen as the link to raise the tempo and feed the attack. Barcelona have also been linked with Luka Vuskovic, Joao Felix and Joshua King while Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Gerard Martin, Johan Manzambi and William Gomes Carvalho Santos.
