Unconfirmed reports suggest that negotiations over the transfer of Fikayo Tomori are ongoing, with Manchester United pushing to land the defender from Milan to strengthen their squad. Discussions are said to be constructive, with the structure of the deal - including add-ons and bonuses - now under consideration, although there is currently no confirmation of an agreed fee for the player. The player is aware of the interest and would reportedly be open to the move, should personal terms be agreed. Sunderland and Newcastle may look to intervene if talks continue without resolution. Defensively, Manchester United are sitting around the league average this season, at 1.43 goals conceded per game. Someone like Fikayo Tomori could keep them steady but also raise the level when it matters most. Alongside this, Milan are said to be exploring Diogo Dalot, Raphael Le Guen and Agustin Giay with Manchester United likewise connected to Diego Alexander Gomez Amarilla, Flavio Goncalves and Ruud Nijstad.
