Negotiations are reportedly underway between Sunderland and Milan over the potential transfer of Fikayo Tomori. The defender is seen as a key target, and both clubs are now discussing whether there is a deal to be done. While no agreement has yet been struck, talks are said to be progressing steadily behind the scenes. While Sunderland and Milan continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Manchester United and Newcastle reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. So far in this season, Sunderland are conceding 2.0 goals a game (14 in 7), more than they'd like compared to the Premier League standard. The hope is Fikayo Tomori adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Milan continue to be linked with Diogo Dalot, Raphael Le Guen and Agustin Giay while Sunderland are also rumoured to be tracking Igor Paixao. Want more transfer rumours like this?
