William Gomes Carvalho Santos, currently with Porto, is the latest name linked with a potential switch to Chelsea. The forward could become a key signing should the move materialise, as the club seeks to strengthen in a key area of the pitch. While Chelsea and Porto continue talks, no breakthrough has been reported. Arsenal, Manchester United and Atletico reportedly may still have an interest, but currently the focus is on getting this deal across the line. At 2.0 goals scored per game this season, Chelsea already pose a big threat. William Gomes Carvalho Santos would be expected to maintain that level and give them another reliable option in attack. Reports suggest Chelsea are monitoring Emanuele Lulli, Luka Vuskovic and Frenkie De Jong whereas Porto have not been associated with other players at this stage. Need more Chelsea transfer rumours?
