Media reports claim that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Alberto Costa, who currently plays as a defender for Porto. The move is still in the early stages, but interest appears to be growing. Manchester United are still pushing to finalise terms. However, Arsenal are still watching closely and may return with offers of their own. Across the season 26/27, Manchester United have let in 10 goals in 7 (1.43 per game), roughly in line with the Premier League average. Alberto Costa would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Speculation continues to connect Manchester United with Lennart Karl, Fikayo Tomori and Diego Alexander Gomez Amarilla while no fresh rumours surround Porto. Want to see how the story develops?
