Porto have pulled the plug on their pursuit of Youri Baas, with the move from Ajax officially off. The defender had been considered a priority signing, but for now, he'll reportedly be staying put. It's unclear whether the club will revisit the deal further down the line or move onto other targets. With negotiations ending unsuccessfully, Youri Baas will not join Porto - but interest from Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Real Madrid could yet reignite. Ajax continue to be linked with Sofyan Amrabat, Moriba Ilaix and Viktor Tsygankov while Porto are also rumoured to be tracking Souza, Quinten Timber and Diogo Leite.
