Update
Reliable reports suggest that West Ham and Chelsea have agreed an agreement for Axel Disasi - with personal terms and contract talks imminent. The defender has yet to sign off on the move, but negotiations over wages and contract clauses are in motion, with all parties hoping for swift progress. It is looking increasingly likely that the deal will be done in the coming days. West Ham remain optimistic, but the deal is not without hurdles. Leeds, Roma and Milan continue to monitor developments and could yet re-enter the race if negotiations stall or valuation gaps remain unresolved. This season (25/26) West Ham have shipped 45 goals in 23 matches - 1.96 a game, which is well above the Premier League average. Axel Disasi would be expected to come in and help tighten things up at the back. Chelsea have also been linked with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Franco Mastantuono and Ibrahim Mbaye while West Ham are reportedly monitoring Harry Maguire, Antonin Kinsky and Yaser Asprilla.
