After being on the brink of joining Man Utd, Cristian Romero will remain at Tottenham - at least for now. The transfer has collapsed, but Cristian Romero could still emerge as a target for other linked sides such as Chelsea, Inter and Barcelona. Across the season 25/26, Man Utd have let in 37 goals in 27 (1.37 per game), roughly in line with the Premier League average. Cristian Romero would be expected to give them some extra stability and depth for the tougher stretches of the season. Tottenham have also been linked with Antonio Vergara, Moise Kean and Lucas Chevalier while Man Utd are reportedly monitoring Matias Fernandez, Karl Darlow and Marc Cucurella.
