It's official: Ilias Akhomach has signed for Vallecano from Villarreal. The forward's move has been confirmed by both clubs, with personal terms and registration finalised. He will now link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming fixtures, having completed a medical and agreed on contract terms. With the registration processed and contract signed, the club have moved quickly to integrate him into their plans for the remainder of the season. Getafe had previously shown interest for the player. In season 25/26, Vallecano are only scoring 0.8 goals per game (16 in 20), below the LaLiga average. Ilias Akhomach would be brought in to give them more bite in the final third.
