Transfer talk surrounding Tomas Araujo is intensifying, with reports suggesting Chelsea are monitoring the SL Benfica defender closely. The player has caught the attention of several scouts as other clubs prepare for a potentially active transfer window. Manchester United, Dortmund and Bayern Munich have not withdrawn their interest and could still influence the outcome. So far in this season, Chelsea are conceding 2.4 goals a game (12 in 5), more than they'd like compared to the Premier League standard. The hope is Tomas Araujo adds a bit of steel and helps make them tougher to break down. Speculation continues to connect Chelsea with Raul Asencio Del Rosario, Ethan Ampadu and Tyrick Mitchell while no fresh rumours surround SL Benfica.
